Whether you are new to guitar playing, or a seasoned pro, we can undertake all guitar repair and guitar setup related tasks from restrings to guitar refrets. We undertake pickup swaps, pickup installation, guitar wiring repairs, output jack replacement. We can also level, crown and polish your frets  or refret your guitar.

We work on valve amplifiers (we do not work on Class D amplifiers as they are often very costly to repair and parts are often not available). We can re-valve your amplifier and check the amplifier bias. We will check the integrity of your valves using our state of the art valve testers. This includes:

Heater filament test: Short circuit, Heater filament test: Open circuit, Heater filament test: Tolerance check, Heater cathode insulation: Leakage, Heater cathode insulation: Short Circuit.

 

Tests for heater current abnormalities, Amplification factor, Voltage gain, Power gain, Screen grid test, Mutual conductance test, Dual test for double triodes, Emission
Inter electrode leakage, Inter electrode short circuit, Flash-over (arc detection, high voltage breakdown), Gas ionisation test.
