Service Description

Guitar Tech Course The Ackworth Guitar Setups Guitar Setup/ Repair Course (1 Day) is the extention of our technician training programme, first introduced in 2020. This course includes the technical and manual experience of the following aspects of guitar maintainance: Truss Rod Adjustment Setting the Action of the instrument Cutting Nut slots to the correct depths. Setting the pickup heights Intonating the instrument Fret polishing Restring and cleaning the instrument Ackworth Guitar Setups courses encourage you to maintain your own instruments and is perfect for those who have no experience as full training and explanation is given. Please note that we ask participants to bring up to 3 guitars with them to work on, on the day. This course is ideal for those wishing to join the industry as a guitar repairer or guitar tech with touring bands. This course includes buffet lunch and drinks. All courses take place at the Ackworth Guitar Setups workshop in Denby Dale, Huddersfield.
